And I want to come and talk for your next event. Do you have a product launch coming up? Or are you interested in learning about skincare or another topic close to my heart, then please get in contact with me.
I'm a great option for your next event as I will create a fun, productive, and memorable atmosphere for any occasion.
If you would like to be entertained and inspired my life journey is a great story to listen to. My life has been a white picket fence with a lot of speed bumps along the way. From the idealistic beginnings in rural Taranaki going to a primary school with only 12 other kids. I got kicked out of boarding school at the age of 14 and had to board with a family I’d never meet.
I meet my hubby at 16, we’ve travelled the world together and now back living in the best place on Earth with our two children who drive us crazy every day.
Being in the same industry for 30 years could be boring yet I’ve changed my role in it often, to keep inspired and to keep making a difference in my life and in the lives around me.
My extraordinary experiences within a very ordinary life are entertaining to say the least.
I can work with you to help narrow down your goals for the talk, what do you want to achieve? Product knowledge? Recognisability for you or your brand?
I am the perfect person to engage your audience, be it a group, class or your team and give them insightful information on pretty much whatever subject you want. I also have a section for Q&A's because for me seminars are all about the discussion of ideas.
I specialise in the following topics
Skin & Beauty
• Sunscreens & skins living in NZ
• Foods for skin health
• Teenagers skin and grooming.
• Growing and leading an extraordinary team
• Being a woman in business
• Starting from scratch.
• Travelling - I’ve travelled the world with some crazy stories along the way. We’ve been to Africa many times, lived in London for 6 years, we’ve done Europe, Middle East and in 2017 we trekked to Mt Everest Base Camp. I have got many travel stories for you.
• Starting a business from scratch and having no idea what to do
• Being a woman in business
• Turning any career around to make it perfect for you
• Personality types and love languages
• Dressing to your body shape, your colours and your style
• Just be awesome and happy.
Then lets get talking, I can work with you to build confidence, teach you how to read your audience and tips on projecting your voice.
This is an important role and one that I don't take lightly. I will work with you to understand your vision for your upcoming event. By reading the room I will speak clearly and with confidence, and of course inject humor when needed.
It's my responibilty to keep the show rolling along on time and making sure all relevant information is being delivered in a clear manner. I will make your event a memorable and lively day/night to remember.
Recently I judged the Turning Point Fashion on the Field at Pukekura Raceway. We were fortunate enough to have Charlotte as the MC for the event. Charlotte was professional and charismatic. You could tell she has prepared and researched her audience and the participants well in advance. This combined with her relaxed approach was a real pleasure to listen to. She was engaging and humorous, spoke very clearly and even though the wind was off putting her voice carried and she was well heard by all. I had a lot of positive feedback on how well the event was run. This was a credit to Charlotte as an outstanding MC who I would highly recommend.
Charlotte is one inspiring well-travelled babe. The amount of knowledge in her head is incredible I love everything she talks about and her passion and flair about everything always leave me WOW and inspired to think that bit deeper ... Her words encourage me to set bigger goals, motivate me to keep going to succeed or tweak and grow, even her rambling shit is interesting.
Having known Charlotte for several years, and attended meetings, information evenings, and product launches where she has been the presenter, when the opportunity to secure her, as emcee for our Fashion At The Races event, I jumped at the chance.
Charlotte’s preparation for the role was productive, and she required minimal input from us over and above the run sheet skeleton. As with many emcee roles, where you are juggling a timeline around members of the public (entrants in the competition), a structured timeline (horse races), public announcement system, and the weather, you need to be adaptable, professional, and quick on your feet, and Charlotte displayed all these attributes, and more.
With a background in acting she is adept at capturing the attention of the audience, relaying her message, and providing entertainment, whilst meeting the requirements of the client, the sponsors, and, in our case, the competition entrants who spend considerable time and money on their outfits, and therefore wish to have that reflected accurately when parading for the judges.
We had wonderful feedback by our sponsors, event attendees, and the entrants, in particular how Charlotte was able to deliver the event informatively, but with humour and her personal style.
We hope to secure Charlotte for other events at the racecourse over the next Summer Carnival, and have no hesitation in recommending her for emcee and presenter roles.
